Pairings
It pairs excellently with duck or lamb dishes cooked with little seasoning, enhancing the structure and complexity of the wine.
Why we like it
L'Eterno, the fruit of Giacomo Tachis' intuition, enhances the potential of the Sicilian grape variety with a refined Burgundian interpretation. The wine combines a solid structure with remarkable elegance. The name comes from the sculpture "La mano dell'Eterno" by Serpotta, whose restoration is supported by Feudi del Pisciotto in collaboration with well-known stylists who created the labels of the collection.
The grapes come from the vineyards of Niscemi, located at 270 meters above sea level, on medium-textured soils with a rich presence of skeleton. Harvested manually in the first half of September, the grapes are vinified in steel, with a subsequent malolactic fermentation. The wine ages for 12 months in new French oak barriques, with a final refinement of 6 months in the bottle.
