The Vietti winery
Vietti: tradition and innovation in the Langhe
Founded in the late 19th century in Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Langhe, Vietti is considered one of the leading wineries of Piedmont and Italian fine wine production. For generations, the Vietti family has cultivated Nebbiolo, Barbera and other native grape varieties through an approach focused on tradition, research and territorial expression.
As early as the 1950s, Alfredo Currado contributed to reshaping the Piedmontese wine scene through the famous “Art Labels” project and the recovery of historic native varieties that were close to disappearing, helping bring international attention to the great wines of the Langhe.
Vietti’s Barolo wines
Today, Vietti is recognised for its ability to interpret individual crus and historic vineyards, producing Barolo, Barbera and Piedmontese wines known for elegance, depth and ageing potential. The selections available on Cantinium Shop include sought-after vintages and bottles appreciated by collectors and enthusiasts.
In particular, Vietti’s interpretations of Barolo DOCG are considered reference points for aromatic complexity, balance and bottle evolution, with wines sourced from some of the most prestigious crus in the Langhe.
