The I Barisèi winery
I Barisèi: traditional method and Franciacorta identity
The Bariselli family, known as I Barisèi, has cultivated vineyards in Franciacorta DOCG since 1898, developing a production philosophy closely linked to the territory and the evolution of the Italian traditional method. The origins of the winery date back to the historic estate in Nigoline di Corte Franca, in the heart of Franciacorta.
Over the generations, the family has refined a production style focused on precision, consistency and the expression of individual vineyard characteristics. Today, the modern winery in Erbusco allows careful management of every stage of the ageing process.
Vintage Franciacorta and extended lees ageing
I Barisèi is especially appreciated for producing Franciacorta DOCG wines with extended lees ageing, often exceeding 60 months, and low dosage levels that enhance aromatic precision, tension and ageing potential.
The selections available on Cantinium Shop include vintage cuvées and riservas focused on complexity, balance and stylistic definition, expressing the character of Franciacorta through Chardonnay and Pinot Nero.
