Why we like it
The Barolo Prapò 2018 is produced from vineyards located in Serralunga d’Alba, in the Prapò area. The vines, planted in 2000, grow on calcareous soils at an altitude of 365 meters above sea level, with a southeast exposure. Fermentation takes place in cement tanks for about 28 days, with daily pump-overs and a délestage halfway through fermentation. The aging process varies from 18 to 30 months in 25 hl French oak barrels, sourced from the Fontainebleau forest, to ensure a wine of complexity and refinement.
