Cascina Pugnane

Located in the heart of the Barolo region, between the towns of Barolo, Monforte, and Castiglione Falletto, Cascina Pugnane is a winery with a centuries-old history in producing fine wines. Covering 6 hectares, of which 5.5 are dedicated to Nebbiolo for Barolo and Dolcetto vines, the estate is renowned for producing Barolo CRU Bussia and CRU Pugnane.

The grapes grow on calcareous soils, ideal for expressing the complexity and elegance of these wines. The vineyard is managed by the experienced hands of brothers Enzo and Ivo Ghisolfi, who took over the family business in 1998, implementing environmentally friendly farming techniques and the best enological practices.

The Pugnane hill, purchased by the Ghisolfi family before World War II, is a place of great historical and viticultural value, with a tradition dating back to Roman times. Here, each bottle tells a story of passion, expertise, and dedication, the result of artisanal care reflected in every stage of production, from manual harvesting to vinification in cement tanks.

Cascina Pugnane is not just a wine producer, but a guardian of the Langhe's winemaking heritage, where the unique combination of terroir and enological mastery gives rise to wines with unmistakable character. Each vintage is the result of a balance between family tradition and innovation, a journey through the history and flavors of Barolo.
