I Barisèi
Since 1898, the Bariselli family, affectionately known as I Barisèi, has passionately cultivated the lands of Franciacorta, passing down the art of winemaking through generations. The story begins with Paolo Bariselli, the great-grandfather of Gian Mario, who purchased the first farmhouse in Nigoline di Corte Franca at the beginning of the 20th century. Over the years, the family expanded their vineyards, turning the estate into a benchmark for quality wine production. In the 1990s, the renovation of the farmhouse and the establishment of the Solive agritourism marked a significant milestone, with the production of the first bottles under their own label. This initiated a growth journey that led to the founding of the modern winery in Erbusco in 2002, raising production to new heights of excellence.
Today, I Barisèi continues to cultivate 43 hectares of vineyards located in the prestigious glacial basin of Franciacorta, an area known for its diverse soils that impart unique complexity to their wines. The I Barisèi brand is synonymous with quality and innovation, with a strong commitment to sustainability and biodiversity protection. Advanced techniques such as cryomaceration and an organic approach to viticulture reflect the Bariselli family's deep connection with the land. Each bottle produced represents over a century of experience and dedication, blending tradition and modernity to create wines that express the very essence of Franciacorta.
