Tasting notes
With a bright intense yellow color, this Franciacorta stands out for its fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, fresh citrus notes emerge, accompanied by subtle balsamic hints typical of Pinot Noir. On the palate, the wine offers a complex and savory structure, with balanced acidity that blends with a pleasant sense of freshness and persistence. Mineral nuances and a creamy texture complete the picture of great elegance.
Pairings
Ideal for accompanying special moments, it pairs magnificently as an aperitif or with delicate dishes such as fish carpaccio, shellfish, oysters, and vegetable or fish-based first courses. Its significant structure also makes it a perfect match for more complex fish dishes.
Why we like it
Opposè Cuvée represents the pinnacle of quality and winemaking tradition of the Bariselli family. Made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the Monterotondo vineyard, a 1.5-hectare plot with eastern exposure, this Millesimato Franciacorta is hand-harvested in the first week of September. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, followed by aging on the lees for at least 70 months. The result is a wine of extraordinary finesse, completed by an extra-brut dosage of 3 grams per liter, highlighting the purity of the grapes and the passion of the producers.
