ColleMassari
ColleMassari is a prestigious wine project encompassing four renowned estates in Tuscany: Castello ColleMassari, Grattamacco, Poggio di Sotto, and Tenuta San Giorgio. Each estate embodies the uniqueness of its terroir, contributing to the creation of extraordinary wines.
Castello ColleMassari, located in the Montecucco DOCG in Alta Maremma, leverages an ideal microclimate for cultivating Sangiovese and Vermentino. The winery, designed according to bioarchitecture principles, employs gravity-fed winemaking to preserve grape integrity and enhance wine quality.
Grattamacco, one of Bolgheri’s pioneering wineries, is perched on a hill overlooking the Tuscan coast. Founded in 1977, it is renowned for its Bolgheri Rosso and its inclusion of Sangiovese in the Bolgheri Superiore blend, enhanced by a terroir of white clay soils that impart significant mineral complexity to the wines.
Poggio di Sotto, acquired in 2011, is a benchmark for Brunello di Montalcino. Located in Castelnuovo dell’Abate, it benefits from a favorable microclimate and rigorous grape selection, producing wines of great elegance and depth, internationally acclaimed.
Tenuta San Giorgio, part of the group since 2016, is situated at 400 meters above sea level in Montalcino. Founded in 1982, it is renowned for its Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, wines that express a strong character through meticulous winemaking.
ColleMassari represents a blend of respect for Tuscan winemaking traditions with a modern, sustainable approach, offering wines that truly embody the essence of the territory.
