Why we like it

The Barolo Cerretta 2018 comes from vineyards located in Serralunga d'Alba, in the Cerretta area, at an altitude of 340 meters above sea level with a west-facing exposure. The vines, planted in 1998, grow on calcareous clay soils, ideal for wines of great finesse. Fermentation takes place in cement tanks in contact with the skins for about 25 days, with daily pump-overs and a délestage halfway through fermentation. The aging process varies from 18 to 30 months in 25 hl French oak barrels, ensuring a wine of considerable complexity and refinement.
