Why we like it

The Barolo Prapò 2015 comes from vineyards located in Serralunga d’Alba, specifically in the Prapò area, at an altitude of 365 meters above sea level, with a southeast exposure. The vines, planted in 2000, are trained in espalier with Guyot pruning on calcareous soils. Fermentation takes place in cement tanks in contact with the skins for about 28 days, with daily pump-overs and a délestage halfway through the period. The aging process, determined based on the vintage, varies from 18 to 30 months in 25 hl French oak barrels from the Fontainebleau forest. This rigorous process ensures a wine of great elegance and structure.
