Why we like it
L'Eterno was born from a suggestion by the famous winemaker Giacomo Tachis, who was able to enhance the potential of this noble grape variety in Sicily. This wine offers an interpretation with a clear Burgundian character, combining consistency with finesse and elegance. The name recalls "La mano dell'Eterno," a sculpture by Serpotta, whose restoration is supported by Feudi del Pisciotto in collaboration with great stylists who created the labels of the collection.
Produced in the vineyards of Niscemi, at an altitude of 270 meters above sea level, on medium-textured soils rich in skeleton, the wine is the result of a manual harvest in the first half of September. After vinification in steel, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages for 12 months in new French oak barriques, followed by a further 6 months of aging in the bottle.
